Take Quizzes for Cash
December 8, 2015 by gina145
Quizbook is a site which pays its members to answer quiz questions. If you think that sounds like easy money, I can assure you that you won’t get rich there, but you will get paid for having some fun and should improve your general knowledge at the same time.
The site offers a variety of quizzes in six different categories:
All of these have several subcategories, so there should be something for everyone.
Each quiz consists of 20 multiple choice questions with four possible answers. You are only allowed 10 seconds to select your answer, which rules out the possibility of doing any research. Not that it would really be worth the effort. You earn one point for each correct answer and points are worth a mere 1 cent per 10 points.
Some of the questions are really easy, but some are quite challenging, so if you’re in it for the money, it’s best to find the categories that you find easiest. However if you want to learn something new, it’s probably best to spread your time around those that interest you.
Quizbook allows you to take the same quiz three times per day, but the questions will differ each time. As their database of questions doesn’t seem to be very large, you will see the same questions popping up fairly frequently though, so in time you will be able to work out the correct answers and you’ll start earning more quickly.
Unfortunately I’ve come across a couple of mistakes on the site, so it’s possible that you’ll answer a question correctly and be told you got it wrong, but these errors are few and far between.
The site also offers other games which look like fun, but I haven’t had time to try those out yet. I don’t think you can earn anything for those though.
One way to supplement your Quizbook earnings is through their referral system which pays you a generous 20% of your referrals’ income forever. If you’d like to try the site, I’d appreciate it if you’d use my referral link. It will cost you nothing to do so.
The minimum payment amount is $10 and you will need a PayPal account to get paid.
Quizbook doesn’t allow more than one account per household, but there’s nothing to stop several members of a family taking quizzes in different categories to speed up earnings.
Having been cheated by several sites in the past, I don’t usually sign up for earning sites without researching them first, but in this case I couldn’t find any reviews so I decided I’d test it out and write my own.
Although I’ve been a member for a few weeks I haven’t been able to spend much time there, so I haven’t been able to cash out yet. However one BlogJob member mentioned that he received his first payment a couple of days ago, so everything looks kosher right now. I’ll update this post when I’m able to cash out myself.
19 January 2016: Please read my new post for information on the latest update to the Quizbook rules.
