Save Money Tips 4 years, 11 months agoYou can also save money by re-using things in different ways instead of throwing items away and buying new ones. Many things can be made into something else. A milk jug can be made into a funnel, for example. Less waste and save money.

Yeah, we often throw away product containers, they can be reused for keeping things.

I mostly walk to work.

I’m in a rural area. There aren’t a lot of places in walking distance (and I am physically challenged). I do try to make the most of each drive though, getting as much accomplished in one trip as possible instead of making multiple trips.

this happens all the time because stores and vendors are very competitive with different brands and no name brands. that is why i always shop around.

Yeah, it’s quite frustrating when come across the product by the same brand you purchased at half price.

Not as much as 50 percent discount but I have seen prices of products going down just after few days of my purchase. I don’t buy products as soon as they land the store and this also prevents me from getting this kind of “Shocks”

At some stores, you can go back with the receipt and get the sale price. It won’t always work, but sometimes, if you buy it real close to the point of the sale, they will work with you.
I’d also consider returning the item and then re-purchasing it at the sale price.

Save Money Tips 5 years, 1 month agoInstead of getting sucked into those “as seen on TV” products that are way over-priced, consider waiting a bit and looking around for the knock-offs that tend follow soon after. Most of the time, they are nearly identical, except for the price.

I try to use a select amount and not dip into other monies. I also like to set aside a little bit for the after Christmas and other post holiday sales. You can find some huge discounts afterward.

Certain items tend to go on sale at specific times, so that’s when I buy them.
