Foreign languages spoken 5 years, 5 months agoDoes anyone in the group use any apps or web sites for language learning? Last spring I began to use DuoLingo on my phone. I like the setup, but I haven’t had time to pursue the lessons much lately.
I was learning German and Spanish. I also have a goal to get at least the basics of Irish Gaelic, and possibly also Italian.

I have to admire the fact that you have so many languages! I speak English and French, which for this part of Canada is considered pretty special. But I have always admired the people in Europe who grow up learning to use three, four, and even more languages as a matter of course. I wish I’d had the opportunity to learn more languages when I was in school.

I am not aware about any apps for learning foreign languages.
Wow! Gaelic language is very difficult to learn. I have heard a lot of that Irish language when I was working in Ireland. I was even thinking of learning that language when I was there but I didn’t.
