Bought a few plants to put on the balcony. Hope they survive. Feels good to see the plants outside my window! Do any of you have potted plants?
We live in an apartment with limited space and its difficult to keep plants indoor. The balcony is a very narrow place and we’ve wanted to try keeping a few plants there. Finally drove to a nursery and g…[Read more]-
I love plants and having potted ones like yours is detrimental to my health in the winter when we can’t garden outside here at all. I wouldn’t want to live in a tiny apartment with no space for them or outside, that would be sad for me personally. But we don’t all have the means. Your plants are so pretty as they are though.

Thanks for the write up Barbara. God has called us to be good stewards of his creation and we need to be responsible with all the amazing things God has given us – nature, air, water. Of course you’re right when you say that being inhuman kills people and destroys life every day. We need to be better human beings, respect each other and also take…[Read more]

Every saturday is NO Plastic Bag day, so all supermarket and stores do not supply plastic bags. We consumers had to bring our own recycle bags and if we forgot, we have to pay 20 cents per plastic bag

keep all glass jars and bottles, reuse them to fill in sauces and spice ingredients. Keep toilet paper rolls, reuse them for making new toys for kids

Today I was about to step into the supermarket when I realised I did not have my own bag. I rummaged in the boot of my car and found a bag. At the checkout counter I declined a bag.
I went to the medical store in the evening and slipped the meds into my pocket instead of taking an extra plastic bad. I then bought two bottles of soft drinks which…[Read more] -

Most of us have at least one electrical or electronic item turned on that we aren’t using. Right now find something and turn it off. I just found a light on in the kitchen that I turned off.
Turn something off and tell us about it. -
