i heard Sweeba is the new site that the Bubblews owners were working on because other people on Bubblews were already aware of it when Bubblews wasnt yet closed, and they were blogging about it. So, i might check it out. i wonder if it pays well this time.

But i think its not bad to give it a try, because minimum payout is only $5 yet. But if they will increase it as bubblews did then things will be doubtful.

I think it is the same as Sweeble which was owned by Bubblews. They had problems acquiring the domain name so they changed it to Sweeba.

According to the FAQ, it is not Bubblews.

@nerdieeds That is so wrong. I never sign up to a new site until I’ve read all the rules, so I can see myself trying this one.

Hi! I’ve been trying to create an account at Sweeba, but I always get the same message : I already have an account. Even when I try to create an account several times, using 3 different email accounts! Did anybody experience this??

@deepam….that’s one of my worries. The fact that there’s confusion about Sweeba and Sweeble. Plus why are people being told they have existent accounts? It sounds to me like they may have migrated people’s accounts over from Bubblews!

I don’t sign up on sites that don’t show FAQs on their main page. But for me to understand and know what is going on, I signed up so I can experience this. I won’t continue if this is another piece of you-know-what-its-called. It is wrong.

I’ll have to check it out. I’m kind of leery too. I won’t put much effort into it until I hear of others getting paid, but I’ll take a look.

While I was earlier also of this belief, but now I am even of a stronger opinion of having an Internet watchdog which approves these Pay to Write or Pay to Click etc sites before they start advertising and taking care that these sites are not making fools of common people.

Well, I used to write for Bubblews too but in the end it was a bad experience to me. So better to wait for your opinions, or… try it myself. I’ll let you know! I have to try to open an account from my computer, seems it’s not possible from my smatphone. ..?

I will never sign up for a site that belongs to the owner of Bubblews. Why should they become better now? I can’t trust them anymore. I have focused on my own sites apart from Blogjob which is much better in the long run.

@janetwrites I feel the same way about the owner of Bubblews, but according to @nerdieeds it’s not the same owner.

I still don’t want to put too much efforts into third-party writing sites because you never know when they will shut down.

Sweeba is not associated with Bubblews and I am there. If you ask me, if you just spam the site which is not my thing, I could have earned the threshold of $5 in a day. I can do that, but there is no proof that the site is paying so I am kind of in doubt.

I’m suspicious of Sweeba, as I’ve said in other locations. From the little I’ve seen of it, I get a very Bubblews-vibe. Of course, I want to be reasonable in critiquing it. In that case, is there a good way to compare Sweeba to the former Bubblews? For example, I want to know why Sweeba was created and who runs it. I wasn’t able to find that information the first time I looked; is there an alternative way to learn some of these basics?

It seems kind of fishy to me. I was over there and there is no FAQ or anything like that. My time would be better spent here doing my own thing. Thanks for letting us know about it.

I was able to read the TOS. It is at the bottom of the page. It reads like most of these sites do. Dont see an FAQ yet.

Hehe I nearly got excited there, then I saw Sweeba. These sites are popping right back up after closing their doors on people on a sour note. I think there’s another one called Sweeble, and there’s just so much confusion over ownership and whether it’s linked to Sweeba, it’s just a mess. I’d rather not get involved to start with 🙂

You’re so right about that @barbrad. Even during the period when Bubblews was paying regularly I sometimes felt that if I’d devoted the same amount of time to HubPages I might have done at least as well. Not that I’ve ever done really well at HubPages, but once I’ve written my Hubs I’ve put very little effort into promoting them, whereas at Bubblews most of my time was spent socialising in the hope of getting return visits.

I agree with you! Though I am still a newbie here, I think I don’t only earn points from blogging here, I learn about how to blog, monetizing, marketing and much more. All these knowledge can be applied to our sites or businesses as well. 🙂
