  I enjoy pictures…but pictures are memory hogs, and some computers I use won’t open a site with a lot of pictures! A web designer for whom I wrote some guest posts last summer has the right idea. Web sites need to work with Firefox, with Opera, with cell phones, with cheap laptops from 1990, and with public access computers that have idiotic filtering systems.
  
  (You can sort of tell which of those devices I’ve been using, depending on whether or not my Link Logs praise anybody’s pretty pictures. I’m human, I don’t have to be consistent all the time.)
