People do tell small white lies, but when someone lies to you, can you ever trust them again when you have caught them out? I have a friend that likes to blame her medication for it, but I’m not buying it.

To me, trust isn’t given, it is earned. I will give people the benefit of the doubt, but level at which I trust them is tempered by how much they’ve proven that they are worthy. If they step on me, it merely takes longer before they are again trusted as much as they were. It doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen, but it isn’t a given.

It depends on the person. If that person is so close to me then made a white lie, I think it’ll not affect my trust. But if the lie is something I can’t bear, I will never ever gonna trust a person.

It would be hard to regain trust once lied to

It’s fine at times to give people a second chance. I will still try to give them some trust if they were genuinely sorry

      Depends on the lie.

      I would proceed with caution.
