It is certainly active and interesting. Cavaliers are fantastic dogs! I used to raise/show them. My sister still does.

You sound to have a very active and interesting life. I have also a cavalier king charles spaniel dog. He´s name is angus and he´s lovely. I´m sure yours too.

I enjoy learning from your posts, too. I’ll be sure and do a video tutorial on milking goats when the girls come into milk for us. I will show how to do it both by hand (easy) and by machine. I have a homemade milk machine as well. I should blog about how to make one. hmmm

Berries don’t have a terribly long, or successful, freezer life in my experience so I also enjoy making freezer jam. It’s super fast and easy and can be used as more than just jam. Makes a good ice cream topping, etc. as well. I also enjoy chopping up various types of peppers and onions for later use in recipes. No blanching necessary. Carrots will be next. Soon, I’ll also be experimenting with freezing acorn and butternut squash as our bounty is huge and I fear past the normal cool storage in the raw. I’ll blog about all these things as I have time to put them together.

How did it work for you, if you did?
