Was going to delete my Over-blog blog but then changed my mind.
Here’s the story.

Was at one time a Bubblews member. (That’s another story.) Someone there recommended this site called over-blog.com. They said that even though it wasn’t being offered at present, in the future people with a Google Ad Sense account would be allowed to place ads in their posts, etc. (You can use their Earnings Plan, but you need a premium account.) Nevertheless, if interested in trying out a blogging app, developing a potential residual income stream, blah blah blah … go take a look.
Mozied on over to check it out. Ran into a major problem because the site is run by a bunch of foreigners. (Just kidding.) Got all flabbergasted, thinking everything was in French or … any language but English. Not so. The platform is in different languages and me being the genius couldn’t figure out that there is a flag you were supposed to click that represented a country that spoke your language.
Using a free account, not an upgraded package. It’s sort of like Tumblr in that it’s really easy to share links, photos, etc. and write your own content. Also noticed that even if the owners don’t allow you to place Google ads, you can use affiliate referral links or banners, as long as the advertisements are in HTML code. No java script or iframe or stuff like that.
What are some of the benefits of creating a blog at this site?
- Are you already on the various social media networks? Then just consider this platform as another sharing site.
- Are you an affiliate advertiser? Consider this a place to put your text links or banners, relevant to the content.
There may be more reasons to go and have a look-see. Still experimenting but this was my experience and these are my reasons why it was decided to keep Cmoneyspinner on Overblog.
