Earn Residual Income : Join Social Sites That Pay (Part 2)

It’s a brand new year. It’s 2017! Reference link below is to my post published on October 10, 2016.

This content is in need of an update.

RE: BlogBourne

The person who invited me to join and was also one of the editors who reviewed and approved blog posts had personal matters that took her away from the site. At that point, I decided to discontinue my activity there but not delete my account.

My BB profile displays one published article. My last visit to the site (today, Friday the 13th) showed this message: “We´re doing site improvements and small changes which might cause weird behavior from time to time.”

RE: LiteracyBase

On January 10th, 2017, received my first payment from Literacybase.com. Hallelujah! Posted the announcement in the Making Money Online group/forum. That’s not a requirement. But members like to share when they receive payment in the hopes it will encourage other members to stay and entice other people to join.

Another significant change that has happened to is the blog posts publish, review and approval process. Joined the site in July 2016. When my blog posts were submitted it could sometimes take up to 48 hours before it was approved and appeared online for public view and comment. The site owners recently made changes and now as soon as the publish button is hit, it’s live for others to see. On the down side, you still can not edit or delete posts, so be sure you proofread, re-read and proofread again!

The minimum payout is $10 and you have to manually request your redemption. It is not an automated process.

Below are links to my last two posts or rather my first two posts for the new year. 🙂

RE: MyLot

This site continues to gain new members and the active older members sign in regularly and engage in lively discussion. What I like is that the site has a “Like” button. This is good because sometimes you may appreciate a discussion but you don’t really have anything else to add or you don’t want to just type something such as “Great!” The like button is an indicator and lets the member know that other members saw the discussion and enjoy such discussions, even if they don’t leave a comment. If you’re looking for an extra income stream, myLot has paid me several times. The cash out is $5 and the process is automated. If you reach $5 or more in your earnings, “Payments are made to everyone eligible on or before the 15th of every month”.  (Quote source: myLot Earnings Program – Frequently Asked Questions)

That’s it! That’s my update. Any questions?

Friday The 13th 2017: When Is The Unlucky Day? Find Out How Many Times It Appears This Year

It’s that time of year again. Friday the 13th is coming up, and that’s a problem for superstitious people. However, those who hate the supposedly unlucky date will be happy to know that it’s only coming around twice this year. Jan. 13 marks the first Friday the 13th of 2017.

I published exactly one post at BlogBourne before deciding it wasn’t the right place for me. I still visit the site to see if there’s something worth reading there but most days there are no new posts at all so it looks like the site is going nowhere. I’ve never tried LiteracyBase because of one’s inability to delete posts. I don’t want to lose control over what I write so I’d rather do it elsewhere. I occasionally post at Niume but I’m not very active there either. And I spend a little time at myLot when it suits me. All told I’m a lot less active online than you are.

I’m active online because I’m determined to prove to my husband that it’s not a total waste of time and it is a means of earning income. That and the fact that I have been unsuccessful finding employment outside of the home. I still look for job opportunities where one can work at home in the various job databases. Found nothing that is suitable so far. But there’s always tomorrow. I have to work at something or I’ll go nuts! 🙂

Good afternoon. I am a member of all 3 sites that you mentioned. Even though I am not an active member I enjoy reading the articles. Have you tried out Niume? It seems to be a professional and well run site.
