Being A Freelancer

Working from home as a Freelancer has it’s pros and cons. It seems that most people are opting in for it nowadays due to lack of employment opportunities or maybe they just wanted to have an income while they are at home.

It’s practical to actually work online as a freelancer as we are in the internet era, telecommuting is booming already. This allows housewives to earn something while they are at home taking care of their kids. It is also good for some people with disability as they don’t have to commute to go to work or get discriminated by companies.

There are several paying sites that are actually looking for freelancers to work for clients who needs some tasks to get done. Depending on your skills, you can just apply and wait for an interview and result if you got the project or not. Some examples are Upwork, Freelancer, Fivver, etc.

Sure, it is a bit tricky to work as a freelancer. It’s not your usual 8-5 job anymore. You will have to be your own boss which is a good thing. However, you also need to take care of the financial side of it plus be your own Technical Support if things go wrong with your PC or connection. Multitasking is one key in order to survive this world of freelancing.

Although it looks as if everything is cool and dandy, you need to make sure that you are learning different skills as the competition is getting stiff and you need to be able to keep uo with it. Keep on reading and researching as you will need another skill after sometime.

So before you jump into being a Freelancer, think again. Are you ready for the challenge or you will just give up after a few months? Remember, if you go free,there’s no turning back as freedom has it’s price. It’s up to you if your willing to pay for it.
