Time to clean our email Inbox

One day, as I was reading a friend’s post on FB, he mentioned that he’s busy deleting some messages from his yahoo mail. That sounds a good idea, I’ve told myself.

And so, I’ve decided to open my own email, too and check if I have some new messages there or any latest news, be it good or bad. Then deleted some useless mails and spam mails that has been accumulated there, over the years. And leave behind those that has some content value.

I’ve had more than 3600+. I’ll try to do it weekly or if I have the time and in the mood to do it, I’ll do it in a daily basis so that it won’t pile-up such as this, until the important ones are left behind.

For now, I still have 2500+ that I am rigidly checking for I may have skipped something important and will delete it without knowing it’s worth.

What have caught my attention was when I saw this message from youtube that I won a price sometime in 2012. What… really? I wasn’t aware of this. It’s just too bad I wasn’t able to claim my prize, if it’s really true some time ago. I’ve also confirmed it in my twitter account that I really won, but can’t remember what it’s all about.

Another message that made me smile was when I read again the recommendation letter that was sent to me by my employer some years ago. It’s just so encouraging and overwhelming to read such nice and uplifting words from them, all over and over again.

Here are some of the selected mails I got since the dawn of time: Facebook Notif, Bubblews Notif, Paypal Notif, PersonaPaper, Wikinut.com, Angel for today, Farmville, Cityville, Candycrush, Glassdoor, Angel for Today, Lucky slots, Surveyhead, Today’s Jokes, noreply@nursingguide, among a few.

Have you checked yours, too. Try to eradicate those useless messages now.

I shouldn’t let myself distracted

There are times that I’m on the verge of giving up. To the point of packing my bags and just leave. But I’ve told myself, why should I dwell on something petty, something that is not worth my time and effort, something that I would regret thereafter?

What the heck, I have to widen up my horizon, focus mainly on my goals, accept my faults and also accept that there are people around that will test me once in awhile. Like for example, checking on how strong-willed a person I am, gauging my strength and weaknesses and knowing if my determination to survive life’s challenges can put me into places or even worst, 6 feet below the ground.

Anywhere we go, there are really haters and fault finders. If we made some mistakes they would correct us or insult us immediately. There are some people who can easily accept what has been thrown to them, be it good or bad; be it in a positive or negative way, but, there are some others, who would view it in a different way. You feel that you’re treated like you know nothing at all, you’re insulted and maligned.

But thanks to those who have always believed in me. Who’s helping and guiding me out and who’s with me in this journey all throughout. I am not perfect, I have a lot of flaws and shortcomings…. who doesn’t, anyway…

I will not be distracted and will head forth to my goal for a better me. It will not do me any good if I mind those people who seems so full of themselves. Just remember that we are all equal in the eyes of the Beholder. Don’t boasts too much of your accomplishments, successes and riches in life. Mind you, When we all die we cannot bring all of them in our grave.

Can’t beat ’em? Then, join ’em!

My first few weeks on Bubblews, which was my first writing site, I was really annoyed reading “milestone post”, or shall say “bragging post”, which of course, was always a big hit there. You gained more likes, views and comments, especially if the content of your article was all about E-checks, redemptions, achievements, etc…

What’s going on with these people, why they keep on doing this? I’ve said this many times to myself and I even got the nerve to submit a post regarding my observations and irritations.

What happened? Oh lala, I was advised to mind my business and just be happy for them. Writing this kind of thing is like a moral booster. To uplift one self and others to work even more harder. To motivate and inspire one and all to make an effort so that he or she will be able to attain and achieve his/her goals.

Days had passed, I’ve tried it. And it’s making good results, thus increasing my bank and gave me a different kind of happiness deep within, while posting all these success stories. I’ve realized that it’s not bad, afterall. From then on, most of my articles are full of positivity and enlightenment. I may crack some rants from time to time, but sharing those wonderful moments in my life is something to be proud of.

Having said this, I don’t mind now reading posts that contain joy, love, appreciation and good vibes to everyone out here. We are all here to share our world. I don’t also intend to dislike someone elses happiness. Never did I, that’s for sure. We are not earning a lot from this experience, but gaining more and more online friends, matters most. So let’s just have fun and enjoy our journey!

As long as we don’t violate any rules and we are not hurting each others feelings, any happy and wonderful thoughts is much appreciated by yours truly.
