Being Humble

Humility is what sets you free! A humble person is a happy person meek strength under control
Jesus didn’t use his power to get out of something instead he humbled himself under God’s mighty hand. He could have called his angels to save him from dying on the cross but instead he humbled himself in God’s mighty hand.
A meek man is a powerful man, calm man, gentle man, wise man like Jesus.

Holy fear means you are in awe of God, full humble submission to God and you completely respect and sincerely trust God with all of your being… I fear the Lord and I choose life than death. I would rather deny myself (my wants, my soul, my desires, my ambitions, my will, my ideas) and to humble myself in the mighty hands of God than to get my way when I will be miserable and pathetic without God anyway! If He tells me that I need to do this even though my soul is screaming and rebelling to death then okay I will do it for his glory. I may feel unworthy and weak but by faith I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and I will never give up for God is with me! I am more than a conqueror in Christ! I know he is teaching me humility and self-control and okay God I get your point. 🙂 Holy spirit, I trust and believe in you! I really do.

God can do unrepeated miracles in your life for He is the most powerful God above all! But here’s the key, make sure you ask wisdom from God, to wait upon the Lord and to be completely be faithful to Him while waiting… If you do that you will see the goodness of God! God will fight your battles! Just be still and know that He is the mighty God! No weapon against you shall prosper because God’s righteous right hand is upon you. He will protect you, anoint you, bless you and nurture you like a baby. Isn’t that wonderful?! But it is a lifetime journey… But you must decide… For who are you living for? Are you living for yourself? or are you living for God?

The Great Love of God

My younger cousin told me one great wisdom and he said: “There are only two choices in life: To go back to Jesus or to give in to temptations”
I learned two insightful lessons tonight. First is the quote that she said to me and second is don’t narrowly judge a person even if she/he is still young coz wisdom is gained for those who seek it. Each and everyone of us is unique and had different stories in life but that uniqueness in us is so beautiful that God will use it to eleviate us for His glory. And the world will see that indeed we have a great living God!
Lord, you know my heart… I have ran away from you plenty and I mean plenty of times but no matter what I do, no matter who I chose, I always end up coming back to Your perfect true love Jesus Christ. Only Your Love can satisfy my soul Jesus. Thank you for loving me, thank you for loving my weird character and for who I am. Thank you for loving what I can give and what I can’t give yet… Even when I have plenty or none You are still loving my soul and my imperfections. (^_^) You love me at my best yet you love me more at my worst. No greater love can ever compare the love You give Jesus to me and to your people. You love us all for who we are. In You, we don’t need to pretend nor to impress you so that You will love us… No… You just love us for who we are and that is SO amazing! I can’t get over it! 😀 Thank you Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for loving us all. We just want you to know, we believe you and we love you too Abba.

Love is the Greatest of all Things

Love God, love people and love yourself. 🙂 You have to have good relationship with God (that’s the most important thing), secondly you have to love yourself for who you are and love what you have right now so that you can have healthy relationship with PEOPLE. This is necessary so that you can sincerely LOVE PEOPLE because what you are inside will always reflect what’s on the outside…it exposes for who you really are! Matthew 15:11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” It goes on saying “What you do defines who you are.” If you are insecure and you can’t trust yourself, and you don’t trust God; How in the world can you be good to others? You will feel bitter and resentful to other people.
(Matthew 12:34) Offspring of vipers! How can you who are evil speak good things? For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks. Your heart is exposed through your WORDS and actions. And people see that! God can see that! Given a fact that you love God yet you don’t love yourself, then you will always be insecure to other people (you’re battling with thy self). You have to decide to humble yourself into the mighty hands of God and ask help from God because He is the only one who can make you feel complete! Once you are complete in God and you are complete inside (by yourself as a person) then that’s the time you can have a healthy and good relationships with other people. 🙂 As it is written: “So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. Ephesians 5:28 says “I do believe God is not only talking about the husbands here but GOD is talking to all of us. He commanded us to love ourselves so that we can love other people. Wow! God is so good! It is His joy to see us happy of ourselves and with other people. But remember, How can you have a good relationship with yourself? Start with God first! He is the Alpha and the Omega (He is the beginning and the end)! Brothers, I tell you let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2) Good and healthy relationships are gifts from God, we should take care of it and that includes having a good relationship with yourself. 🙂

Isaiah 61:3 (The Message) PART 2

<Philippians 2:13> for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. I’m anointed and I’m totally equipped! I can do all things in Christ! ? Luke 1:37 ? For nothing is impossible with God.

<Jeremiah 32:17> “Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Thank you Lord for the trust. I delight in your ways and your word… Your word is the word of life for my spirit and it refreshes my soul. You are so amazing Lord!

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Have a cheerful heart! I serve the Lord with passion and joy. In life’s difficulties, I pray that God will give me more favors, more grace, more burning passion, more wisdom and more strength. I seek His face and may The Lord’s face shine upon me like sunshine that lifts up my soul. For without His favor and passion, it would be harder to follow Him. [John 8:31-32 “Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. “If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you.”] I regularly evaluate/monitor my emotion/soul… Where do I belong? What are my capacities? What are my passion? Then I pray and seek God’s wisdom and guidance and to know where I am exactly God wants me to be. To know the truth gains wisdom and to know wisdom it set me free from ignorance and sin. Why? I’m more secure, more confident and I love God and I love the things that I’m doing so it is not a burden to me. It is my passion from God… What more could I ask for? God chose or anointed me for I have this talent and passion… I may stumble yet I will never fall. God’s hand is upon me, guiding me in every path that I take. Thank you Lord for your love. I Love you Lord, my soul…my first love.

Isaiah 61:3 (The Message) PART 1

1-7 The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, Announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners. God sent me to announce the year of his grace a celebration of God’s destruction of our enemies and to comfort all who mourn, To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them “Oaks of Righteousness” planted by God to display his glory. They’ll rebuild the old ruins, raise a new city out of the wreckage. They’ll start over on the ruined cities, take the rubble left behind and make it new. You’ll hire outsiders to herd your flocks and foreigners to work your fields, But you’ll have the title “Priests of God,” honored as ministers of our God. You’ll feast on the bounty of nations, you’ll bask in their glory. Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, Your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever.

Lord God, Thank you for this wonderful talent in me…Thank you for giving me the passion to sing. And I will sing your praises Lord God for your glory. Without You, I’m nothing. This talent is a gift from you Lord and I’m so grateful that you chose me. It is a great honor and privilege to serve the King of all Kings. The enemy tried to steal my talent by giving me sickness but Lord you healed me and I’m so thankful Lord! You are indeed a faithful and powerful God. Let me sing for you Lord to serve you, to share your wonderful love and to honor you Abba. I may not have the greatest voice in the universe but each of us has a unique talent. And I’m not scared because the Holy spirit is in me. My Holy spirit is my advocate and my helper. For it is God who enables me to act for His will and glory.

Trials in Life

Our firm announced that will close down due to financial problems.
It shocked all of us. The first thing that came into my mind was what about my friends here most especially faye and berna?
Lord, please have mercy! Help me, comfort me, give me peace. I don’t want to be separeated from Faye and Berna.
But I thank the Holy spirit that He made me calm and gave me peace of mind. I know everything is going to be okay.
My confidence is found in Christ alone. [Psalm 39:7]
“But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.

Lord, I know that You are good all the time and I thank You because you are doing a new good thing in my life.
You want the best for me and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for me. New experiences means new level. (^-^)
I’m not worried at all because I have You in my life and You always steady my heart… You never failed to calm my mind.
[Psalm 62:5]

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
I can’t wait for another new exciting and amazing beginning with You Lord. Amen!

When we worked hard, the  reward will follow. It has been a long time I desire to have a smartphone and this November the Lord will grant my heart’s desire to have it for the first time. I am so happy and feeling excited about it. Thank you Lord. Below is one of my favorite chapters in the Book of Psalms.

Psalm 37 (New Living Translation)
A psalm of David.

1 Don’t worry about the wicked
or envy those who do wrong.

2 For like grass, they soon fade away.
Like spring flowers, they soon wither.

3 Trust in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.

4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.

5 Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.

6 He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

7 Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes.

8 Stop being angry!
Turn from your rage!
Do not lose your temper—
it only leads to harm.

9 For the wicked will be destroyed,
but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

10 Soon the wicked will disappear.
Though you look for them, they will be gone.

11 The lowly will possess the land
and will live in peace and prosperity.

12 The wicked plot against the godly;
they snarl at them in defiance.

13 But the Lord just laughs,
for he sees their day of judgment coming.

14 The wicked draw their swords
and string their bows
to kill the poor and the oppressed,
to slaughter those who do right.

15 But their swords will stab their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.

16 It is better to be godly and have little
than to be evil and rich.

17 For the strength of the wicked will be shattered,
but the Lord takes care of the godly.

18 Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent,
and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever.

19 They will not be disgraced in hard times;
even in famine they will have more than enough.

20 But the wicked will die.
The Lord’s enemies are like flowers in a field—
they will disappear like smoke.

21 The wicked borrow and never repay,
but the godly are generous givers.

22 Those the Lord blesses will possess the land,
but those he curses will die.

23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives.

24 Though they stumble, they will never fall,
for the Lord holds them by the hand.

25 Once I was young, and now I am old.
Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned
or their children begging for bread.

26 The godly always give generous loans to others,
and their children are a blessing.

27 Turn from evil and do good,
and you will live in the land forever.

28 For the Lord loves justice,
and he will never abandon the godly.
He will keep them safe forever,
but the children of the wicked will die.

29 The godly will possess the land
and will live there forever.

30 The godly offer good counsel;
they teach right from wrong.

31 They have made God’s law their own,
so they will never slip from his path.

32 The wicked wait in ambush for the godly,
looking for an excuse to kill them.

33 But the Lord will not let the wicked succeed
or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial.

34 Put your hope in the Lord.
Travel steadily along his path.
He will honor you by giving you the land.
You will see the wicked destroyed.

35 I have seen wicked and ruthless people
flourishing like a tree in its native soil.

36 But when I looked again, they were gone!
Though I searched for them, I could not find them!

37 Look at those who are honest and good,
for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.

38 But the rebellious will be destroyed;
they have no future.

39 The Lord rescues the godly;
he is their fortress in times of trouble.

40 The Lord helps them,
rescuing them from the wicked.
He saves them, and they find shelter in him.

He is the Best Giver…Thank you my Lord.

Listen to advice and accept instruction and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
– Proverbs 19:20-21

“Man proposes, heaven disposes.” Most of us rush to give advice and make grandiose plans. The wise man reminds us that wisdom comes from submitting to instruction for a significant period of time and then, only at the end of long listening does it come. If you are like me, you would do much better to let your plans ripen a bit more in the light of the Lord before you launch into them. I am comforted that James, the wisdom writer of the New Testament, reminds us that God will give that wisdom if we seek it and not doubt. But while we pray for wisdom, let’s pray also for patience to listen to the Lord’s truth in Scripture so we may recognize wisdom when it comes!

Almighty God, teach me your ways and help me discern your paths for my life. I have so many plans and schemes, but I know if they are not from you, they will not stand. Lead me to your wisdom and I will not only seek to know it, but also seek to live it by the power supplied by your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

(Source: Verse of the Day)

There are so many things to thank of in life. Blessing are poured out in my life and I am overflowing with gratefulness. Thanks to the Word of God who taught me to value the things I have in my present life and not busy thinking of the things you do not have. Please do not forget to value your blessings each day and this will help you to find the right path that pleases the Lord.

Behind the Story of Hope

In the beginning, human beings chose to separate themselves from their loving Creator and go their own way. Hopelessness came into this world. Instead of living with a purpose, people do not know why they are here. We could live in peace and harmony with each other, but we are troubled by hatred, jealousy and hopelessness. That was the outcome of that early decision. But the scariest of all tragedies is our eternal separation from God. Today many people feel their lives are without much hope. But millions of people have found true hope in a relationship with God. How do they do it? First they discovered that they can never live up to God’s requirements. God is holy and he cannot tolerate sin. Then they heard about their chance which is Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. For everything so that we can have peace with God and to have an eternal life.

Out of love, God created for everything from the endless universe to you and me. God created man for a relationship with himself. At that time there were no wars;  there was no injustice, no sickness, and no sin. Man lived in paradise in harmony with his Creator. Then God performed the greatest act of love mankind has ever seen which is Jesus Christ, the Son of God died for our sins. But that was no the end. Jesus rose form the dead conquering death forever.

People who put their trust in Jesus Christ are given eternal life and no longer need to fear death. Jesus’ grave is the only empty grave in the world. That is the greatest hope of all, Jesus is alive and he will come back soon to fetch us to heaven  and to protect those who believe in Him from this evil world full of pains and difficulties.

Pray For Your Worries

Greeting the blue

My Daughter,

Pursue Me and don’t fuss about what’s on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach and more to your appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. If I give much attention to the appearance of wildflowers, I will attend to you, take pride in you, and do the best for you. Focus your attention on Me and trust My provisions in your life. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find that all of your everyday concerns will be taken care of. Give your entire attention to what I am doing right now, and don’t worry about what may or may not happen tomorrow. I’ll help you when that time comes. Don’t let anxiety and fear rob you of living and enjoying today. It is my gift to you.

(Quoted from: My Daily Inspirational Guide)

This letter is based on biblical reflection about anxiety. The feeling of anxiety is very common in our lives today. Most of the people are anxious about themselves and what to do in the future without enjoying the present life. Thinking about your future is not bad. Planning for your future is not bad. What the Lord is telling to us is that we should not focus more about our future. He is telling us to enjoy the present moment you are in at the moment because according to him it is a gift and opportunity to work with. If we are busy thinking in our past, we were not able to focus more of what is today’s gift or an opportunity . Let me quote from the bible from the letter to the Romans.

Romans 28:8

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
